DIY Crafts!

I have recently started following a ton of blogs, like 100's of blogs (I may be addicted) and

have been so inspired to make lots of things! I love, love seeing how crafty and creative 

people are. When I grow up I want to be like these talented ladies, especially my friend Kim 

over at Simply Domestic!  I have bookmarked a bunch of things that I want to copy, yes I 

said copy because I am not creative enough to think of it myself! :) So, I found a super cute 

picture frame that I wanted to copy. I won't show you the original, mine doesn't look near as 

good! I would definitely do a couple of things different but I thought they turned out cute for 

my first time making them! I also had some extra fabric left so I made a bib necklace, if you 

are a blogger you have probably seen these everywhere! It is not perfect so don't look too close!

A little about us!

I have in the past started a blog a couple of times now and
usually after a couple of post, I never come back to update! But, it is a new year
and I am going to attempt to be a new me! I am not a writer and am not entertaining,
I am just going to write about me, my family, my business and my blessings!

We are a family of 3, well 4 if you count Bentley the dog. I have been married to Kyle
for almost 9 years now and am very, very thankful for him and our marriage. One thing
I do not do is take for granted what a great marriage and husband I have. I see hurting
families all the time and am so thankful and blessed for my life. We went to school
together since the 6th grade but went our separate ways after high school. We both
attended our 10 year reunion and the rest is history! :) We tried for 3 years to have a
baby and was not successful after trying many procedures including 4 IVF's. I got
pregnant with the first one but miscarried at 7 weeks. The others were not successful.
But, the amazing God that we serve in all of His infinite wisdom had a different plan for
us! Six years ago he blessed us with Ethan through adoption. He is one amazing little
guy that we love and adore! We have a very open adoption and are so blessed to
know his birth family. God is good. We live in Rowlett and attend church at Firewheel
Church in Garland and we love it! That's us in a nutshell!

and care for others.  Because of these qualities she is worthy of reward, honor 
and praise.  It is our intention to celebrate, encourage and reward women for who

My Girly Outlet

Hi Friends! 

Welcome to the first post of my new blog! I decided I would try and 
promote my new obsession business with Thirty One Gifts! Actually it is not
that new, I have been a consultant for almost a year. I had never heard of 
Thirty One until a friend of mine told me about it last year. I looked on their
website and immediately fell in love! Who knew I had a bag obsession! I have
had a few direct sales businesses and swore I would not do another one! 
That was my "argument" to my husband when asking if I could just purchase 
the kit which was and still is a $99 steal!! He rolled his eyes at me (he apparently 
knows me well!) but still agreed! After getting all my cuteness in the mail I was 
really in love, but still NOT selling it unless people asked me about it. Well, to
my surprise they DID ask about the cute bags that I was carrying around and 
before I knew it I had a couple of parties scheduled (still don't know how 
that happened)! After being signed up for about 8 months I realized real fast that 
I could not let this opportunity pass me up and also realized this has become my 
fun, "girly outlet" (I live with all boys!) with a bonus of making extra money! 
Thirty One is an amazing company with an amazing mission which is to 
celebrate, encourage and reward women through offering quality products 
and an outstanding opportunity to become successful business owners.

So thanks for reading my first "book", I mean blog post! I will be putting updates
